At Blue Butterfly Counselling, I offer a compassionate, trauma informed space where you can explore what has brought you to therapy without pressure, judgement, or expectation. Whether you are struggling with emotional pain, difficult relationships, loss, identity, or the long term effects of trauma, our work together is shaped around your experiences, your needs, and your pace.


Below are some of the areas I support clients with:

Anxiety, Panic, and Emotional Overwhelm

Living with anxiety can feel exhausting and isolating. You may experience constant worry, panic, physical tension, racing thoughts, or a sense of being permanently on edge. In therapy, we explore what is driving your anxiety and how it shows up in your body, thoughts, and relationships.


Using a trauma informed approach, I support you to develop emotional regulation, grounding skills, and self understanding. Our work focuses on restoring a sense of safety, reducing distress, and helping you feel more steady in your day to day life.

We begin by building emotional stability and nervous system regulation, allowing deeper healing to unfold gently and without retraumatisation.

Sexual Trauma and Abuse Counselling

Experiences of sexual abuse, assault, coercion, or boundary violations can affect the body, mind, identity, and relationships. Many people carry shame, self blame, fear, or disconnection long after the event itself.


I provide sexual trauma counselling in a space that is respectful, compassionate, and fully guided by your comfort. You decide what you share, when you share it, and how quickly we move. Our work focuses on rebuilding safety, agency, self trust, and a sense of reconnection with yourself.

Narcissistic, Emotional, and Psychological Abuse Recovery

Relationships involving manipulation, gaslighting, control, or emotional neglect can slowly erode self worth, clarity, and identity. Many clients come to therapy feeling confused, emotionally drained, and unsure of who they are anymore.


Through trauma informed recovery work, we gently explore what happened, reduce self blame, strengthen boundaries, and restore emotional autonomy. Therapy becomes a place to reconnect with your own voice, instincts, and sense of self.

Addiction counselling and understanding Compulsive Patterns

I offer compassionate bereavement counselling to help you process loss, make sense of complex emotions, and find ways to continue your bond with your loved one while moving forward in your own time.


I also specialise in bereavement by suicide, providing a safe and understanding space to explore the unique pain, shock, guilt, anger, and unanswered questions that often accompany traumatic loss.

Stress, Burnout, and Nervous System Regulation

When stress becomes constant, it can impact emotional wellbeing, physical health, and relationships. You may feel exhausted, disconnected, or unable to rest.


Therapy can help you understand what is driving your stress, regulate your nervous system, and develop practical strategies for balance, boundaries, and emotional resilience. Our work focuses not only on coping, but on creating a way of living that feels more sustainable and supportive.

Identity, Self Worth, and Emotional Safety

Many clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, unsure of who they are, or stuck in patterns of people pleasing, self doubt, or emotional self protection.


Through integrative, trauma informed counselling, we explore identity, boundaries, attachment, and emotional needs with curiosity and compassion. Therapy becomes a space to rediscover your voice, strengthen self trust, and build a more secure relationship with yourself.


This includes affirming and supportive work with LGBTQ+ clients who may be navigating identity, belonging, relationships, trauma, or the impact of societal and relational pressures. You do not need to explain or justify who you are here. You are met with care, respect, and understanding.

I am an experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor working in a trauma informed, client centred, and integrative way. This means that you are always at the heart of our work together. Therapy is shaped around your experiences, your pace, and what feels emotionally safe for you.


I offer a calm, confidential, and non judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without pressure. There is no requirement to disclose anything before you are ready. Safety, choice, and emotional containment are always prioritised.

Healing happens through being seen, heard, and supported in a way that allows trust, self compassion, and emotional stability to grow.
